Who sees what
Wealth Plus has three kinds of login under each firm. Each one sees everything below it and nothing beside it. The same rule applies on every screen, every report and every download.
| Login | Who it is for | Sees |
|---|---|---|
| Firm (Firm Admin) | An advisory firm and its staff, for example SA0001 | Only its own families and portfolios. Creates families, portfolios and client logins. |
| Family Head | One family, for example FG000001. Optional. | Every portfolio in that family. |
| Own portfolio login | One person's portfolio, for example PF000001. Optional. | Only that portfolio. |
An example
Firm BMS has two families: ABC (portfolios A, B, C) and PQR (portfolios P, Q, R).
- BMS staff see A, B, C, P, Q and R.
- ABC's Family Head sees A, B and C, and not P, Q or R.
- A's own login sees only A, not B.
Words used across Wealth Plus
- Portfolio
- One trading account of one person: the holder, PAN, broker and client code, and the demat account. Trades and holdings belong to a portfolio.
- Family
- A group of portfolios that are looked at together. A portfolio can also be shown in a second family of the same firm.
- Logins are optional
- A firm can keep families and portfolios without giving the client any login at all, and add a Family Head login or a portfolio's own login only when the client wants to sign in.
Limits on your account
Your firm's licence sets how many families and portfolios it may have, how many portfolios a family may hold, and until when the account is valid. When a limit is reached, the add screen says so. To raise it or renew, write to [email protected]. A limit can't be set lower than what is already in use.
