Bulk contract notes
For firms with many clients: select every contract note in a folder (or a zip), for any clients and any brokers, and Wealth Plus works out whose each one is. You confirm the matches and save everything in one click.
Upload and save
- Open Trades > Bulk contract notes and select all the PDFs, or one zip. Type a password only if your notes use an unusual one.
- Each PDF is opened with the passwords of every portfolio you can see, then read. One PDF can hold several notes.
- The match screen shows one card per client code with its notes (date, note number, trades, bought, sold, net), and the portfolio Wealth Plus suggests, with the reason.
- Where no portfolio was found, pick one from the list (type to search; grouped by family).
- Click Save all. Each note is logged under Contract notes, all trades are saved in one batch and linked to their notes. The result page lists what was saved per portfolio, with a link to check corporate actions.
How a note is matched
In this order: the client code (UCC) on the note, the PAN, the visible part of a masked PAN ("PAN ending 201L"), the portfolio whose password opened the PDF, and finally a client code or PAN in the file name. If the same client code exists at two brokers, the note's broker decides.
Firm staff can tick Save client code … to this portfolio on a card, for portfolios that have no client code yet, so the next upload matches by itself.
Good to know
- Notes already imported into the chosen portfolio are unticked, so nothing is saved twice.
- Duplicates are skipped and rows with errors go to Upload errors, as with any upload.
- Files that aren't contract notes (ledgers, holding statements), PDFs no password opened, and brokers without a reader yet are listed separately with the reason.
- An upload waits up to 3 hours between reading and saving; after that, upload again.
